- Your paper will be 8 pages long including pictures. This does not include your title page or your reference page/s.
- Pictures that appear in your paper must contain a caption indicating where the picture came from.
- While Wikipedia could be the first source that you search for information, it is not an acceptable source to cite within your paper. If there is information you find useful in the Wikipedia article, do a further search to find the source of it and use that source in your paper.
- Your paper must be written in APA style, and it must contain in-text references.
- You must use at least two books for your paper. The books should have been written within the last 10-15 years.
- You must use two databases that we have at College of DuPage: the Grove Art Encyclopedia and the Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians.
