Twitter is a free micro-blogging service and social software application that allows users to send and share short (140 characters or less) updates ("tweets"). Like a blog, users can post regular messages, follower other users' tweets and collect followers themselves. Because Twitter also has a social component, however, users can communicate with each other, keep in touch with friends and network.
The College of DuPage Library has been tweeting since the Fall of 2007, keeping our followers up to date with our latest news and happenings.
Want to follow the Library's tweets? Users can receive updates via the Twitter website, instant messaging, SMS, RSS, or email.
