By registering, you will be able to create your own playlist.

- Shows drawn from include Frontline, Nova, Great Performances, American Experience, Masterpiece Theater among others. Most are full length.
- San Fransisco Museum of Modern Art
- Video and audio presentations on modern art and artists.
- Smithsonian Video Archive
- The Smithsonian archive contains streaming videos in the fields of nature and wildlife, people and culture, science and technology, and history. Most are in the sciences at this time.
- SnagFilms
- Documentaries from independent film makers and some well established sources like PBS and National Geographic. Films may be viewed free of charge, although there is some ad content. A broad range of topics is available including the arts, environment, history. health, culture, politics, religion, science, sports, and women's issues.
- Steven Speilberg Film and Video Archive at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum
- Videos on the Holocaust and related aspects of World War II from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's Steven Spielberg Film and Video Archive.
- Tate Online
- "Tate’s Online Events Archive provides a growing resource of artist talks, performances and cultural debate. Currently there are over 600 hours of audio and video available."
- Teacher's Domain
- Teacher's Domain includes a nice collection of video clips from public television programming. Subject include arts. English, math, science, and social studies. There is a college level edition, but many of the videos for the high school level are also appropriate. Lesson plans and student activities are also available. They have very generous terms of use which you should read. There are multiple ways of sharing these sources including linking, downloading, placing the items in folders, and in some cases remixing. You will need to read the terms of use because they vary from item to item. Registration is free and gives you unlimited access to all the resources. Some of the categories they use are not intuitive, for example: under social studies / global connections / belief systems you will find a number of clips on world religions.

- Trailers of Historically Significant Films
- These trailers are from Digital History (see above). Length of time varies. They range from Broken Blossoms (1919) to Fahrenheit 911 (2004).
