Markup
- The C.O.D. Library home page and global layout templates are valid XHTML 1.0 transitional. Generally, additional site content is also valid XHTML 1.0 and we use content management systems that generate valid XHTML. In some cases, due to the distributed nature of this site's content creation, there are instances of non-valid, hand-generated markup. However, we are constantly striving to improve the quality of all site mark-up and encourage users to notify us when content is not valid or rendering incorrectly.
- This site also generally uses valid CSS. In a limited number of instances, non-valid "hacks" have been implemented to address inconsistent renderings in non-standards compliant browsers. But these workarounds are kept to a minimum.
