- Articles (many are full text) from business and management journals.
- Business & Company ASAP
- An index to articles (many are full text) on business and management topics, industries, and companies with additional corporate information on more than 110,000 public and private companies.
- Business Source Elite
- This is still another database with articles on business topics, many which are full text. Look for the Datamonitor report under the Company Profiles section.
- Chicago Tribune
- Excellent business information on local companies.
- Hoover's Online
- Provides full text financial and organizational profiles for more than 13,000 public and private companies with links to Web sites, news articles, stock charts, annual reports and industry reports.
- ReferenceUSA
- U.S. company information searchable by company name, geographic location, type of business, and business size. Useful for marketing and sales planning.
- Standard & Poors Company Research
- Search this database by company or ticker symbol to locate information in the following S&P publications: Register Public Co., Register Private Co., Bond reports, Stock reports, Register Executives.
- Standard & Poors Industry Surveys
- This database includes the text of Standard and Poors's Industry Surveys. The database is searchable by industry, sub-industry and by company name or ticker symbol.
- StatUSA
- Useful for information on doing business in other countries.
- Wall Street Journal
- This prestigious business newspaper is an excellent source of company and industry information.
