Automotive Technology Books

The Library has four different types of book collections.

  • General Collection: Books you can take home.
  • Reserve Collection: Materials your instructor may have set aside for your class. Look up your class here.
  • Reference Collection: Books used for quick, factual information. Not available for check out.
  • Electronic Books: Books to read on your computer. These are located either via the catalog or in the Knovel Interactive Library, below.

Reference Books

There are several encyclopedias, directories and handbooks in the Library to use for a quick look-up. Reference materials are not typically something you sit down and read cover to cover. Here is a selection:

Electronic Books

The Library has a great selection of e-books in the Automotive Engineering subject area. You can find these in the Library catalog, but the best place for you to look is in the Knovel Interactive Library (have your library card ready!) Here are a few selections from Knovel:
