Article databases

Academic OneFile 
Academic OneFile is great for peer-reviewed, full-text articles from the world's leading journals and reference sources. Updated daily.
Academic Search Premiere 
Academic Search Premier contains indexing and some full text for 4515 journals. This scholarly collection provides journal coverage for nearly all academic areas of study.
JSTOR 
JSTOR is an archive of digitized journal articles ranging in date from the 1700's to the mid 2000's. These collections span a variety of subjects in the Humanities, Social Sciences and Physical Sciences.
Newspaper Source  
Provides selected full text for 23 national (U.S.) and international newspapers, including USA Today, The Christian Science Monitor, The Washington Post, The Times (London), The Toronto Star, etc. The database also contains selected full text from nearly 200 regional (U.S.) newspapers. In addition, full text television & radio news transcripts are provided from CBS News, FOX News, NPR, etc.
Proquest Newspapers (National)  
Simultaneously searches the indexes of the Chicago Tribune, Christian Science Monitor, New York Times, Wall Street Journal and the Washington Post.
Special topic databases 
are available for other areas such as business, health, the environment, etc.

ERIC 
A guide to published and unpublished sources on thousands of educational topics, with information from RIE (Resources in Education) and CIJE (Current Index to Journals in Education). ERIC records now include full-text documents from the ERIC Digest. The ERIC database includes the ERIC thesaurus, a complete list of descriptive terms used by ERIC to index and search the database. Users can access ERIC documents from 1996-present from within the database by clicking on "full text."
Professional Development Collection 
Professional Development Collection provides a specialized collection of electronic information especially for professional educators, professional librarians and education researchers. This collection offers information on everything from childrens health and development to cutting-edge pedagogical theory and practice.

Ethnographic Video 
Ethnographic Video Online provides the largest, most comprehensive resource for the study of human culture and behavior with more than 750 hours and 1,000 films at completion. The collection covers every region of the world and features the work of many of the most influential documentary filmmakers of the 20th century, including interviews, previously unreleased raw footage, field notes, study guides, and more.
Films on Demand
