Library Card

Students enrolled in an ONLINE course may apply for a library card by filling out this Online application form. [librarycard.htm Library cards] are also issued at the Main Campus Library's Circulation Desk.

If you are not taking your course through the Internet, i.e. your course location is not "Internet", please use this application form for a temporary card or this form for a temporary renewal.

Books

Look up books in the COD catalog. Look up books in other library catalogs.

Articles

Use your home computer to look up magazine, journal and newspaper articles as well as other kinds of information from over 80 online indexes and databases. Tips on accessing the Library's databases are located here.

Troubleshooting the Databases

Answers to common database connection problems.

Web Sources

Search engines and subject directories; selected reference Web sites covering such topics as newspapers, law, government and statistics; jobs and careers, and college and financial aid sources.

Research Help

Request Materials

Acquire books and articles from other libraries with the Interlibrary Loan service. Request COD books to be held for you at the COD Library Circulation Desk or to be delivered to your home.
