Focus: Redefining Your Topic

In the course of your initial, exploratory research, you may find that your original research question has changed. Maybe your topic was too broad and you found that there was too much information to sort through. Maybe you had trouble finding any information on your topic and you realized that your topic was too narrow. Either way, redefining your topic is a part of the research process.
