Write a critical analysis of two articles on a current business topic of your choice. The articles should both be on the same topic. The analysis should include a brief summary of the two articles and an evaluation, analysis or reaction to the ideas that were presented in the articles. In your analysis, refer to concepts that were discussed in class or the textbook.
Use the databases listed below to find the business articles. The databases are available from your home or work computer, but you will need a valid College of DuPage library card to use them from off campus.
Business and Company ASAP This is a good database to begin your search. It contains an excellent selection of articles, many which are fulltext, on a wide variety of topics. Under Subject Search, you can enter a business topic, an industry, or the name of a company or business person. Use Advanced Search to combine two or more topics. ABI/Inform and Business Source Elite
These databases are also useful for finding articles. You may want to use the Advanced Search feature when searching for articles in
ABI Inform. Chicago Tribune and Wall Street Journal
These newspapers are also excellent sources for articles on business topics.
