Comment Board Responses Lisa/EllenUse the new cork boards for replying to student comments. 9/25/08Both Lisa & Ellen will post comments. Some comments have been posted on the blog. Have students check the comment board daily and record the comments for distribution to Lisa & Ellen weekly.
Relocation maps Rebecca update maps with current evacuation routes 9/11/08 Virginia is updating maps; she will be on medical leave for 2 weeks beinginning 9/15. If she cannot finish updates, she will send files to Rebecca to update. Lisa would like project completed by 10/15. 9/25 - Header and Key still needed on map. Will wait for Virginia to return on 10/1. Rebecca did some of the updates and sent them to Phil 9/28.
Small sign holders from Virginia Rebecca get from Viriginia and install in group study rooms 9/11/08 Viriginia is contacting vendor re: delay. "Rules" signs are up; waiting for replacement signs.

Banners outside SRC "library" entrance exterior doors NancyWork with Rick Mohammed to have 2 banners made. 1 "welcome students" and 1 "Connect with the library" 9/11/08 Expected completion date 10/15. Rick working on golf outing until 9/24; will work on library banners after golf outing. As of 10/9, Tim has not gotten dimensions to Rick. Thinks he can still make 10/15 completion date, but would be more comfortable with 10/22.
Ceiling banners for library and cafe for SRC hallway Rebecca consult with Sign Authority for banners 9/11/08 met with Leanne Tampier 9/11; waiting for designs. 9/25 Reviewed designs and having them resend with changes. Rebecca approved proofs on 10/1.
Lanyards Nancy order 100 or more lanyards with snap off key holder 9/11/08 f/u with Todd. 9/18/08 Ordered 100 1" forest green lanyards w/white imprint and name badge clip. Should receive mid-Oct.


Hay Reports EllenEllen should have all job descriptions today.9/11/08Revised all but about 3 in CIRC. HR is not ready for us yet. All descriptions expected to be in HR by 10/15. First set should go to Joe Collins on 10/2, remainder by 10/7.

Tuesday night fire alarm. Ellen/LisaIf happened right at 5pm, changing of shifts. Didn't go as well as expected. 9/25/08F/U w/ a training pamphlet for fire escape similar to the zones pamphlet. Valeria, Ellen, Rebecca changed the routine, added staff to upper level evacuation. Rebecca will talk to Becky about stationing someone at the stairwells in CIRC.10/9/08
Crash bar doors Lisa remove magnetic locks and replace with swipe card and/or local alarms 9/11/08f/u with Phil and Joe Schuerman on progress. 9/25 Phil installing temporary alarms to act in place of crash bars until crash bars can be installed. Four alarms installed on 3rd floor fire escape doors. Glass doors near 3040a still need to be alarmed before Phil can turn magnets off. As of 10/7, all 3rd floor doors have new alarm. Magnet is turned off.10/07/08
